Oil is the most important natural resource of the industrialized nations. It can generate heat, drive machinery and fuel vehicles and airplanes.  Its components are used to manufacture almost all chemical products, such as plastics, detergents, paints, and even medicines. The Tuboil can be a valuable building block of all these applications and even without wasting natural resources as it is recycled.

TUBIS can provide its customers with a comprehensive electricity generation model offering prices per kWh well below subscription prices paid for electricity received from the public grid.

Particularly for industrial customers with need for both electricity and heat this model offers great upside potential. Depending on the customer’s needs, TUBIS can finance, construct and operate a CHP station (combined heat and power) on behalf of the customer on its premises. TUBIS will operate the CHP with its Tuboil, offering competitive long-term prices unaffected from the fluctuations on the commodity markets. Contingent on the current contractual obligations, TUBIS can generate substantial electricity savings for its customers.

Furthermore, contracts with energy providers often contain exceptional right of termination in case customers switch to renewable energy sources or become independent producers. TUBIS is fully flexible to react on the customers particular needs.

Feed Stock

The Tuboil is perfectly suitable for use as feed stock for various industrial as well as commercial applications. Consisting of ca. 65% light fuel oil, 20% kerosene and 15% petrol, it contains only minimum level of sulphur (under 0.1%) but high level of valuable aromatics such as Ethylbenzene, which is added to gasoline as an anti-knock agent, meaning it reduces engine knocking and increase the octane rating. Ethylbenzene is often found in other manufactured products, including pesticides, cellulose acetate, synthetic rubber, paints, and inks. Depending on the customer’s product specifications, the Tuboil can either be directly inserted into the production process or a more upstream derivative (e.g. a particular aromatic) be applied. TUBIS is determined to provide customers with suitable recycled products for their various applications and product requirements.

Fuel / Energy

Through a standard distillation and refining process, the Tuboil can be broken down into its three main components (65% light fuel oil, 20% kerosene, 15% petrol). The individual components can be utilized for energetic purposed in various industries such as the transportation industry (automotive, aviation, shipping, etc.), for commercial or household heating or industrial production processes. On the basis of its very low sulphur content (under 0.01%) the Tuboil can for instance find application in the shipping industry where since 2015 in ECAs (Emission Control Areas) only fuel with a sulphur content of less than 0,01% can be used. Therefore, ship operators face the two costly options to either retrofit their engines with a desulphurisation system or utilize petrol as fuel. The Tuboil represents an alternative that meets these environmental regulations at a favourable price.
